LEAN SLEEP INGREDIENTS

LEAN SLEEP is a premium stimulant-free supplement that delivers increased fat metabolism and better sleep quality

MitoBurn®

MitoBurn is a revolutionary new ingredient containing L-BAIBA that will become your best friend for incinerating unwanted fat. L-BAIBA (β-aminoisobutyric acid) is an amino acid found in both plants and animals and until now, L-BAIBA has not been available as a raw material ingredient due to the inability to keep it stable as a powder. MitoBurn helps burn ugly fat. White Fat represents the storage of energy in our bodies. This form is the type we can see and grab on our bodies, which can be broken down for energy during periods of low intensity exercise and in periods of caloric deficits. MitoBurn helps increase fat oxidation and researchers have demonstrated supplemental BAIBA’s ability to increase fatty acid oxidation in the liver mitochondria.

L-Theanine

L-Theanine is an amino acid that is naturally found in tea leaves. L-theanine promotes relaxation and facilitates sleep by contributing to a number of positive changes in the brain. First, L-theanine boosts levels of GABA, serotonin and dopamine. Increasing levels of these calming brain chemicals promotes relaxation and improves sleep. Second, L-theanine reduces chemicals in the brain that are linked to stress and anxiety. Third, L-theanine enhances alpha brain waves. Alpha brain waves are associated with a state of “wakeful relaxation.” That’s the state of mind you experience when meditating, being creative, or letting your mind wander in daydreaming. Alpha waves are also present during REM sleep.

Rhodiola Rosea

Rhodiola Rosea contains more than 140 active ingredients, most prominent ones being rosavin and salidroside. This allows the body to strengthen its resistance against stress. Rhodiola has been found to improve symptoms of burnout, which can occur due to chronic stress. It offers treatment of symptoms related to stress and can prevent stress-related health complications as well. This has been used as traditional medicine for centuries, particularly in Russia, Scandinavia and other regions.

Schisandra

Schisandra is used traditionally to treat poor liver function and liver disease. Your liver is a very important organ in the fat burning process. The liver is responsible for turning fatty acids into ketones which can then be used by your brain and body for fuel. If your liver function is sub-optimal you will not maximise fat burning or detoxification. In fact, it may be the one thing that brings your fat loss to a grinding halt. If toxins are not eliminated your body will create extra fat tissue to try and safely store them.

GABA

GABA (Gamma-Aminobutyric acid) is an amino acid naturally produced in the brain. GABA functions as a neurotransmitter, facilitating communication among brain cells. GABA’s main role in the body is to reduce the activity of neurons in the brain and central nervous system, which in turn increases relaxation, reduces stress, improves sleep and promotes a calm and balanced mood. Low GABA activity is linked to insomnia and disrupted sleep. In one study, GABA levels in people with insomnia were almost 30 percent lower than in people without the sleep disorder. Low GABA levels are also corresponded to more restless and wakeful sleep.

Magnolia bark extract

Magnolia bark extract is a plant found in parts of Asia and North and South America. The bark and flowers are used in traditional Chinese & Japanese Medicine. Magnolia bark has many potential benefits, including anticancer properties, improved sleep, treatment of menopause symptoms, relief of stress and anxiety, and protection against oxidation and inflammation. The bark, leaves, and flowers of the houpo magnolia tree are used in traditional medicine to treat anxiety, depression, and more. Many benefits of magnolia bark can be attributed to two powerful polyphenols — magnolol and honokiol.

Melatonin

Melatonin works to regulate your body’s circadian rhythm. Your circadian rhythm is your body’s internal clock; it lets you know when it’s time to sleep, wake and eat. Melatonin also binds to receptors in the body to help you relax. For instance, melatonin binds to receptors in the brain to help reduce nerve activity. In the eyes, it can help reduce dopamine levels, a hormone that helps you stay awake. Melatonin levels start to rise in your body when it is dark outside, signalling to your body that it is time to sleep. Conversely, light suppresses melatonin production. There are many factors that may cause low levels of melatonin production at night including stress, smoking, exposure to too much light at night, not getting enough natural light during the day, shift work and aging. Evidence shows that taking melatonin before bed can help you get to sleep.
